Meet Rita: 28 Years of Real Estate Experience Now Serving Edmonton

With nearly three decades of real estate experience across Vancouver, Calgary, Fort McMurray, and now Edmonton, Rita has built her career on three core values: honesty, dedication, and putting her clients first.
A Career Spanning Four Major Markets
Rita’s journey in real estate began in 1997 in Vancouver, where she gained hands-on experience in:
Working with custom home builders
Helping first-time buyers
Managing property rentals
From there, her career took her to Calgary in 2000, where she spent five years immersed in another big market. There, she partnered with builders like Albi Homes, and specialized in working with investors, handling flips, rent-to-own strategies, and property acquisitions.
In 2005, Rita moved to Fort McMurray, where she built her career and family over 18 years. She started as a property manager, then transitioned back to residential real estate, raising her two sons along the way.
Most recently, Rita returned to Calgary before settling in Edmonton in 2023, bringing her wide-ranging experience across four very different markets to the clients she now serves in the Greater Edmonton Area.

While Rita has worked on teams before, she explained in her interview that she often found herself without the support she needed. In fact, in one situation, her team lead left the country shortly after she joined—leaving her to figure things out alone.
At RJ Homes, the experience has been entirely different. Rita says the support and collaboration here allow her to focus fully on her buyers, while the team handles everything behind the scenes. This balance ensures her clients receive the best representation possible, and Rita gets to do what she loves most—building relationships and helping people.
